I was born and raised in New Jersey until I moved to Hong Kong to pursue graduate school in philosophy. Though I always did a fair amount of hiking and exploring in Hong Kong, I only recently began birding once I learned just how excellent Hong Kong is for birds.
In March 2021, I moved to South Korea to work at Yonsei University, and it turns out that Korea is also excellent for birdwatching as well!
